2020 Nevada Public Health Virtual Conference

Creating the Healthiest Nevada: Putting Prevention into Practice
September 2020

Conference update, May 14, 2020: The statewide board voted to hold a virtual conference this year in place of the in-person conference that was planned in Las Vegas September 22-23.  This will allow for the utmost safety and security of our attendees as well as leverage maximum funding and planning to bring you the most engaged, most dynamic conference to date. It is our sincerest hope that this decision will keep us safe, healthy, and strong as we continue to do our best with our efforts to flatten the curve and reduce the risk to our citizens. The conference planning is working on the agenda for the virtual format, which will likely be somewhat different from the in-person conference. Check this space for updates.

The statewide NPHA annual conference provides an opportunity for Nevada’s public health professionals to gather together to discuss relevant public health issues, as well as a chance to network, meet, and stay connected with other professionals in Nevada. Continuing education credits are also available for several public health disciplines. The location of the NPHA annual conference alternates yearly between northern and southern Nevada, providing greater accessibility to participants.

Full agenda coming soon.
